Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year at David Lawrence Jr. K-8 Center.  I know that this will be an exciting and productive year.  Our school is not only a place to teach children, but a learning center for the entire community because learning is lifelong.  By extending services beyond the traditional K-12 hours, we are improving student learning, building stronger families, and promoting healthier communities.

A variety of academic enhancement and enrichment activities, including homework assistance, indoor and outdoor games, music, and arts and crafts are being planned for children in our program.  Some of these activities require enrollment in individual classes at an additional fee per class.  For a complete listing of the additional after school enrichment classes, please see the attached forms.  If we can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to call Mr. Brinson (Program Manager) at 305-354-2600.  Our fax number is 305-354-2601.

SERVICE HOURS AND FEES

BEFORE-SCHOOL	7:00 a.m. - 8:20 a.m.	$15 per week
STORY HOUR	2:00 p.m. - 3:00	$12/week (4 days)
AFTER-SCHOOL	2:00 p.m. - 6:00	$30 per week
AFTER-SCHOOL ENRICHMENT CLASSES	2:00 p.m. - 4:30	$10 to $25 per class

Fees must be paid in advance based on the established payment schedule.  Fees may be paid by cash or money order ONLY.  There is no partial payment for partial use of services.  NO CHILD WILL BE ALLOWED TO BEGIN A SERVICE PERIOD FOR WHICH PAYMENT HAS NOT BEEN MADE.
